Another Way To Look At It

Sparkling thru a field of shining loss

The bright and shiny misfortune

Overbears our truths

The world may spin a in a circle

But it cycles, none the less

And warms crawl out of the dead

Minus the cremated

Life still exists

Even if just in another form

The bitterness that surrounds us

In our time of need

Bend like a spoon

In it's most impossible ways

The grudges held on society

__hold us back

But thee embrace of life

__thru hard times

____keeps us better off

I don't want to see a rain drop

Just a grey sky

I don't want to see the sunshine

Just a guaranty

__to stay dry

Many a time I'll hear "nothing"

But once in a while

__I can hear more

As often as ever

__thoughts of danger may scare me

But often enough

__there is nothing to be afraid of

If love is found

Life can turn around

And if I choose to see love as lost

__it may never come back around

But if I hold on

__to the lingering changes

____that have evolved

______from a love no longer around

I can keep what love once gave to me

And hold onto myself a little better

And an emotional relapse

__can be avoided

A mental relapse

__doesn't have to happen

And the truth can stay true

Love gets lost

__more than it gets kept

But if it's keepable it's forever

And if that's just a dream

Maybe I need to keep sleeping

Because it's thee only thing

__good about life

Thee existence of a woman

__by my side
