What if I told you?

Your words were like razors,

Your benevolent tongue lashing fifty against my skin.

What if I told you?

My eyes have shed more tears

Than every cloud there has ever been.

What if I told you?

Your casual stare burns a hole right through me

Like a self-righteous laser beam.

What if I told you?

I cannot get so close

Because your superiority rends my soul.

What if I told you?

I am drowning in a sea of your so called love

And I am left constantly gasping for air.

What if I told you?

My heart bleeds out with every beat of

Your callous indifference.

What if I told you?

You had the power to heal me or hurt me.

What if…
