Everybody knows what a driver is. Every time you drive your car, you are a driver. Here we gonna talk about a special kind of driver, street racing driver. This is an illegal form of auto racing that occurs on a public road. There are many reasons why some people dedicate themselves to this dangerous and exciting activity. However, many street racers consider the sport to be about "the hustle". It's also about money and gambling. Bets on races often involve "a pot", which means that multiple people have their money betting on one of the cars.

Vin is a legendary street racer in his native California. He is "A Man Apart". He is very hardworking, not like the other guys in his community who are "Knockaround Guys". He is "Fast & Furious". I would even say he is faster and more furious than anybody else in a street racing car. And he didn't share "The Fate of the Furious" who all died in car accident during racing. Vin is "Multi-Facial" due to the plastic surgery he had to undergo after some car accidents during his career that left his face with bloody scars. But don't worry he looks better than Michael Jackson, he never try to change skin color.

The porn industry has been a flourishing business in California since Vin's childhood. But X-rated movies are not "Fast & Furious" enough for him. It has to be rated "xXx" to make him happy. Many people don't know about it, but Vin suffers from a speech disorder. He likes watching tennis on TV. And he likes anything that is "Fast & Furious", like the powerful serve of American tennis player Andy "Riddick". He means Andy Roddick, but his speech disorder gets in the way. No problem, Andy has a good sense of humor, he didn't get angry the day they met. He just joked about Vin's racing car and said about it: "It goes as fast as my first serve." (249 km/h - 155 mph)". But what would make Vin the best street racing driver of all time is driving like Roger Federer is playing tennis. Being the fastest doesn't make you always the best. It's more about overall abilities and being complete like Federer rather than like Roddick.

In California street racing is sometimes related to organized crime. And on one occasion, Vin had to escape from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" (Los Angeles police) hiding and spending the whole night in the "Boiler Room". He didn't escape by driving his street racing car at the speed of Andy Riddick's, I mean... Roddick's first serve. But this lie is part of the street racing mythology that build the street racing legends, just like James Dean's death. Actually, it seems that James Dean died in a car accident driving at the relatively low speed of 112km/h (70mph), and that the mechanic Rolf Weutherich was the driver. That would mean James Dean died as a passenger, but the truth is never as exciting than the myth, it doesn't sell and make people dream and wonder.

Vin is now a member of the Street Racing Hall of Fame. You have to be "Fast & Furious" enough to have this privilege. Vin did well, he is "Fast & Furious 8" in the best of all time ranking. Do you guess who is number one of the ranking? James Dean leads the list as Fast & Furious 1, thanks to Hollywood biggest myth.

The most interesting part is when a legend opens his heart and tell you about his beginnings. This is the road that led Vin to become a street racing legend:

"It wasn't until I went to college and I got my first motorcycle that I understood the thrill of speed."

But why Vin didn't stick with motorcycle? He'll never tell you the truth. But the real reason is that he had no good balance and fell from his motorcycle anytime he drove slowly. He realized it never happened driving a car, so he decided to switch and drive cars only.

"Choosing the car you drive is like choosing your wardrobe, maybe even more important."

He didn't say it's like choosing your friends, your wife or your family cause that wouldn't be true. A car can only be more important than another object, like your wardrobe for example.

"They say the open road helps you think. About where you've been and where you're going."

It's like meditation, it opens your mind, it's a very spiritual experience. Whenever you drive your car, to work or to the supermarket, think about it. Breathe deeply and close your eyes when you get stuck in a traffic jam. You'll see what Vin means.

"Show me how you drive and I'll show you who you are."

You are either a "Fast & Furious" or a "Slow & Calm", a hare or a tortoise. And if you want to know who is the first to cross the finish line, just read the "The Tortoise and the Hare" fable, and you'll be surprised by the outcome.

"I love women more than anything."

He especially loves women when it's "Fast & Furious". Vin is a great lover, his performances in bed are at the level of his street racing performances. A great husband? I would rather look for a "Slow & Calm" for that.

"So, goodnight Vin. If you want to continue with more Fast & Furious you'll drop in the Hall of Fame ranking. So, you still have time to drop from "Fast & Furious 9"."
