The bell rang, and I rushed to class. D203, I thought. D203. I found the D Hall. Man, college was huge. I found D203, and slammed the door open. All the students, and the Dean, all looked at me, staring. My face was flustered red as I stumbled into an empty desk.

The Dean stared at me for a minute, and turned back to the rest of the class. "Anyway, getting on with roll call. Damon, Sophie?" I raised my hand sheepishly and said a muted "Here", my face still so red you could see my face from Jupiter. "Elle, Lucy?" "Here," a velvet voice said next to me. I looked over. There was a girl with beautiful blonde hair that went just past her shoulders, beautiful green eyes with people frames around them, with the tiniest bit of acne on her face. She was probably the most prettiest girl I had ever seen. I looked away. "Eden, Samuel?" "Sam, please. And here." A confident voice behind me said. I looked behind me, and there was a gorgeous boy behind me. He had dirty blonde hair that went to his shoulders, wide, curious hazel eyes that dazzled in the light.

After roll call, the Dean said, "Alright. I will assign you a partner. You will work with them for the rest of the term. First, Sophie Damon and Samuel Eden." "Sam." The boy behind me muttered. "Okay, get to know your partner, for the rest of class." The Dean said.

I turned around to look at Sam. "Hey, I'm Sam. Nice to meet you. You're Sophie, right?" He took my hand into a gentle shake. "Yes, that's me," I said, my face getting more and more red. "So, Sophie, tell me, what are you studying here?" Sam asked me, his cool minty breath refreshing me. "Umm, doctorial stuff. You?" I asked, trying to handle the red. "Firefighter, actually." He answered cooly. We started up a conversation about it hopes and our dreams, or passions, what we like, and things like that. Or conversation suddenly was interrupted by someone throwing up. I looked over. It was the beautiful girl that was sitting next to me. He gave was Green.

"Well someone please take her to the nurse's office, please?" The dean said. Everyone stood back, but I raised my hand. "I've got her." I put my arm around her waist, and she put her arm around me. We walked out. To be honest, I had no idea where the clinic was. "Can we please stop here?" Lucy asked, starting to lie down on a bench. She was going to throw up again.

She puked all over the ground. It was gross, but we kept walking.

"Are you okay?" I asked her. "Yeah, I just get super nervous sometimes, and then this happens. This is so embarrassing," her face turned red. "It's okay," I said. We kept walking, and finally found the clinic. "Oh, dear," the nurse said. "Love, I think you need to go home," he took her temperature, and it was high. "I can take her home," I said. The nurse nodded. "That's probably our best option right now. Feel better, Lucy." I helped her to my car, had her sit in the backseat, laying down. She directed me to her place, and we got out, and I helped me into the house.

"Shit," she muttered. "What's wrong?" I asked, running into the side of the desk by the door. "The cat crapped on the floor," Lucy curled in the couch. "I've got it," I said. I cleaned it up, and she sat in the couch for a bit. "Do you feel any better?" I asked. "Yes. You can go if you want, she said. I grabbed my keys and opened the front door. "Hey wait!" She called. "Thanks for bringing me home, means a lot." I smiled at her, and left to my car, somehow feeling a spark.
