I walk into the bathroom, in pitch blackness

It's 12:08 in the morning

I unzip my bag and grab my knife

A single tear rolls down my cheek

"Nice to see you again", I whisper under my soft breath

I close and lock the door behind me while my other hand turns on the dim, yellow, light

With my eyes squinting trying to get used to the shallow brightness

While more tears fall out of my bright green eyes

I sit at the edge of the toilet lid, grasping the serrated knife tightly

I start gently pressing the blade upon my soft skin

Until I increase the pressure while red is dripping down from my arm onto the white tile floor

I go a bit deeper until there was a long red mark across my forearm

I walk out of the bathroom, into blackness, Covering the red pouring from my arm, and turning off my yellow bathroom light

stumbling onto my bed, I fall asleep, "Until tomorrow", I whisper
