Winking in store-room of blood  it caused a bellow
Once again "it" appeared to make the skin yellow
Poor me! Anything? But strike a swallow!
How could I stand when it pinched to the marrow?
That Terrorist's Terror Terrified every inch of me
Neither it faded nor it set back to my plea!

Shaking the window of my body
It jerked and jiggled and turned it to sawdy
Poor me! Anything? But stay there clutching my knees
How could I stand when it stabbed to seize?
That Terrorist's Terror Terrorized my breath to impair
Neither it let me speak nor even to inhale the air!

Inclining to bring my world to an end
Once again "it" appeared with all that fiery blend
Poor me! Anything? But die with a stooping bend!
How could I stand when it roared to call it THE END!'
That Terrorist's Terrific hand aimed at my chest
Neither it trembled nor it shivered but triggered in zest!

Does not it the height of leniency's dearth?
That every jerk of breath took all my mirth!
Silent and quiet would I be now and then
Whispering prayer for my men!
This heart would stop working from now
But they would kill our hopes and struggles, how?
