The year is 9053, and My crew and I were en-route to a violent riot that occurred on-board a vessel that was hi-jacked from krynar. “Alex” Tom, my communication officer commented as we began to close the gap between us and the wanted criminals we were sent to hunt down. “we have just been given orders to dis-continue our chase” “Good reason??” Tom paused briefly before continuing, “I think it’s a very good reason. I'm sending it to your ready-room for viewing.” “good” I replied before going to my ready-room. The messages contemts was a bunch of documents about an insurrection that was being plotted against Turner. Then, halfway through, I heard a voice remark “And on that very day, I will betray you and slay you like an animal” I felt like I knew that voice but, I just dis-regarded it and returned to the bridge. “Take us to the site where this is occurring” I told James, My pilot.

Upon our arrival, our primary threat scans have detected nothing that could transmit that signal.” At first, I was about to report that everything was fine until we saw a distortion to our left.Try to send it a message” But, right after Tom sent a standard greeting, The massive vessel turned and established a weapons lock on us, as if to kill us. “This is the USS-Smith” I remarked over the open channel with this strange vessel, “Please power down or we will retaliate” “You will leave or you will die” I knew that what-ever or who-ever was on-board that ship knew allot of answers, thus I gave the order that would lead us to a new discovery. “Listen men” I said before we beamed out to the other craft, “ Do not let this creature get into your head. Obviously it wants a war, don’t give it one.” after they all agreed, we beamed over.

“OK” Tom commented, since I left him in command of the USS-Smith after our departure. “Let’s keep a lock in case beam-out is necessary but we won’t have contact with the scout party” He told the ret of my crew as the monitored our progress. We moved through the various hallways only to find that there was no bridge at all. “This is very weird and I don’t like it at all.” Then, before we turned to leave, a screen nearby lit-up, and a voice came from around us. “You are trespassing onto this vessel.” “Come out you coward!!” I yelled, but only a hooded figure emerged from the shadows and spoke in a low, and bone-chilling tone of voice. “I am the one who you least expected. During the fight, I sought to destroy you and I didn’t succeed but nothing will stop me now from seeing you die a slow death as I destroy everything you love in front of you.” Then the dark figure vanished back into the shadows, now I knew we really needed to get the heck off of the cruiser before we had to fight our way out. “This’s Alex” I said over our com.link with the USS-Smith, and we were immediately beamed onto our own vessel. By now, our enemy had began to power up its weapons with the obvious intent on our destruction. “Return fire” I told my weapons Operator, Burt. “Locking on and opening fire” He gladly commented, meanwhile, I told our pilot to get us away from here.

We managed to escape via co-axial warp travel, thus we arrived back at one of the farthest outposts on tykun in 4-hours armed with new evidence to show Turner. “Excuse me” One of Turners personal body-guards commented to us after we landed and left our cruiser “Turner” Reginald, My lieutenant commander as well as best friend, exclaimed as we caught up with Turner a few feet ahead. “What now??” “Sir” I commented and handed the memory stick that contained the classified Intel we collected to him. “Um then I will inform you after I reviewed this data if I decide it’s a valid reason to launch a scout mission to gather more Intel”

A few hours later, Turner re-emerged and approached me with a smile on his face. “We’ve authorized the mission, but only 4 of you will be permitted to go.” Now, most of my crew-members were shocked and applauded by this news. “Who the” “Burt” Turner commented, “This’s a top-level priority & highly classified.” “And what’ll happen if we are caught?” “Well, because of the fact that you’ll be well behind enemy lines, you’ll have to find a way out after you get the codes.” “Emergency?” “You’ll have an emergency homing beacon embedded under your skin that will transmit a constant signal to one of the stations close to their space.” Then a few seconds later I felt a sudden pain in my shoulder since Turner injected the transponder into my body before I left to pick out the 3-other crew members I would take with me.

I never proceeded to tell my crew and walked straight to landing pad 3. I took off in my vessel before anyone knew I was gone. Meanwhile, My crew was all upset that I never showed up, and Tom sought out Turner. “Where the hell’s Alex?!” “He should’ve been there by now” “Well if he’s not there, I can’t help you” Yet Turner almost forgot how devoted my crew was to me. Before he could lock-down the main hanger, My crew got back into the USS-Smith and took off from the same complex in pursuit.

I managed to evade the 2-main tachyon arrays placed at the entrance of enemy space and flew undetected to Syrutain-2, a planet that was pretty much all ice. My vessel landed at the designated landing zone, and then I engaged the lock-out code before I left the craft.

The hike to the nearby laboratory took me about 2-weeks to complete before I finally arrived at the site. The laboratory sat in a valley overlooked by a cliff, thus providing me the opportunity to convert my pulse rifle into the Sniper configuration, thus allowing me to take out the 4-guards that protected the perimeter. Once they were down, I broke my way into the heart of the problem.

Meanwhile, My crew was still en-route. “Reginald,”Tom commented, “There’s a scanning station 5,000 Kilo-meters ahead” “Fire, and level it” “But??!!” “Do it now!!!” “Fine” Tom remarked and gave Burt the all-clear to open fire. They leveled the station but unknowingly gave away their location as well. They managed to cloak just as 2 battle-cruisers drew close to the site where the station was at.

“We’re safe” Tom replied and Reginald had a change of plans. He gave orders to visit the Empire’s main leader. “Your not” “We’re going to kill this guy now” Tom was astounded, but thought Reginald had a good plan at the time, thus He gave them orders to protect the USS-Smith while he carried out his task. Luckily, They were able to beam him into the Great-hall, and His target was right in plain sight. “Oh, It’s my good friend” “Shut it you creep” Reginald harshly remarked and readied his plasma gun to fire. “ But before you kill me you must know that I have something you’ll want” “What could you have That I possibly want?” “Oh, just your captain. But, I guess I'll have to use him as a specimen.” Reginald felt real bad, especially since their destruction of the scanner alerted our adversaries to our presence. “You do know that I would’ve even not know he was here if you never came?” “Guess we’ll take you back alive” But, the only thing the hooded figure did was show Reginald the small control panel that allowed him to inject the spores into my blood. “You, on the other-hand have the fire of a warrior.” He drew his energy sword and took a swing at Reginald and cut off the right hand. “I could use a man like you” “Lies!” Reginald yelled, but then greed and the desire to have all fleets at his command got the better of him. “Fine” He remarked and tore the logo of our fleet off his uniform. “Welcome to The only order that will survive. Our war will purge the multi-verse off anyone who doesn’t comply to our rule.” “I will serve you” Reginald knelt before his new leader and said “My life is yours to command” and from that moment on, things were different.

A few weeks after Reginald left our fleet, I thought I left the complex undetected and made the flight back to Turners cruiser, which was in orbit around Krtrus. “Turner” I gladly remrked after I landed the small craft at its hanger located 12-decks below the main bridge, “I managed to get the files you wanted. Turns out that their security measures were very low.” “Good work” He commented as the team of technicians went out to upload and analyze the various files of data I recovered. I walked with Turner up to the bridge and I also told him about the information I aquired from the laboratories workers I be-friended. “Ah” He commented by the time we entered the bridge, “So there’s something definitely going on now,” “Well,” I remarked, “ I’m going to my quarters for the night” “See y’a” I left the bridge and walked to my room only to find that the door wasn’t closed all the way. I thought about calling security but decided to open it my self.

As soon as I stepped into the room, a massive BOOM was made and I was hit by a very intense flame-wall and knocked unconscious by the blast since it threw me very hard against the wall outside my quarters. It also was strong enough that its force momentarily affected the cruisers fusion reactors and triggered numerous alarms on the bridge. It was about a couple of minutes before Turner and his crew discovered what occurred and responded. I spent the next few days in Sickbay with very severe injuries, and hand to undergo an 8-hour operation during that same week. I wasn’t well enough to return to duty, but I felt that I was still the captain and it was my job to protect my crew and vessel so I stole a shuttle, returned back to my own cruiser, then resumed my command by Monday 2-weeks later.

“Burt” Tom remarked as we left toward our new assignment, “Please meet me in the captains ready-room for a moment?” “Sure” Burt muttered, and followed Tom. Once they were inside, Tom locked the doors to the room. “Our captain,” “Should we tell him about Reginald?” “No, he’s been through a hell of allot.” “We really” “Let’s try to ensure that he never has access to anything regarding that particular mission data.” “Great plan except” “This better be good” “there may not be a way to erase all of the files from the core memory since, after all, we would need Alex’s codes to do that.” “What if I went and used the by-pass link to over-ride the lock-out?” “What you talk of would be considered Treason!, plus, we could start a war by crossing into that particulaar space.” “Nope” Tom commented, and accessed remote control of my Medical transport shuttle. “If we don’t get our codes, We’ll threaten to unleash a destructive virus that will be almost impossible to kill.” Burt was absolutely shocked by what Tom suggested but decided to go along with the plan.

Unfortunately, Their plan was rapidly discovered and stopped before they could leave my vessel. The 2-soldiers that stopped their access to the crafts systems escorted them into my ready room. “So, would you care to explain why you tried to knowingly steal a medical transport shuttle with Nanites on-board??” “Alex, I cn” “No explanation is needed” I commented as I viewed another piece of evidence in hopes to discover what happened to reginald, “We just received a class-1 signal from Naurion, And we are in response to the crisis.” “What happened?” “Let me sum it up. Unknown vessels arrived yesterday morning, then a massive invasion took place. Thousands of innocent live are in immediate harm from this attack.” “So?” “Gentlemen,” I paused briefly, “We are at war as of right now.”

After further conversation, I returned to my post on the bridge and used the ship-wide intercom. “Attention all crew members” I began, “As you well know, we are en-route to an active war-zone. If we are boarded, use any means necessary to ensure that none of the nano-cartridges we aare carrying are stolen by our enemy. Also, anyone who is not engaged in combat, and needs any type of assistance, please assist. Gentlemen, Today we not only protect our sacred right to exist but also the right of life.” After I finishe my broadcast, we began to apporach the war-zone. “Sir, looks pretty bad.” “What’s your name son?” I inquired to the young lieutenant sitting to my right. “Smith, sir” “Well, Guess we’ll have to make the best of it all” And then we joined the war. As my vessels numerous combat systems were effectively used to both defend us as well as destroy our adversaries vessels, I personally led my own special combat team to the cities core. Once we arrived via teleporter a few seconds later wmost of my soldiers took their positions and wiped out those who got in our way.

the battle for the cities center was so brutal and bloody, I am not going to describe it in this book. This particular fight only took us 5-days to secured that part of the massive city. By Tuesday of the next week, we planted the Flag of our fleet in the very core of the city. Throughout the coming months, however, the casualties on both sides began to climb the more the fighting continued. By the very next month, April 34th of 9056, my team and I Finnally located the remote command center that our enemies ground troops were utilizing. It was a very old defense turret covered by a bright metal dome.

“Anyone inside?” “Yes, But your not goin to like the news” My squads scout remarked as he approached me in my shuttles quarters. “I need to know who it is” “Sir” The commander remarked, and looked me straight in the eyes thus I knew this wasn’t going to be easy for him to tell me.

“Spill the beans” I ordered. “It’s Reginald.” I was appauled, and I thought this was some type of sick joke. “Do you realize what this will mean if your right?!” “No?” “You just can’t kill Reginald. He is a master at war. When we were going through the academy, he was the second one up for the captain/Admiral promotion. Things began to change once he found out, that because of his own problems with his genetic code, He wasn’t given that immediate promotion, he tried to kill me at first. But,over the 3 years after he did try, we quickly became friends. Pretty soon, I entrusted all my darkest secrets to him and we fought side-by-side for a number of years.” “So is that” “Why he has completely betrayed not only the innocent people that he protected, but his very closest friend, I honestly, Don’t know.” I looked back over my right shoulder at the holographic screen-saver of us standing on the landing pad on Saratuam, The first day I was given command of my vessel. “We became really best friends as well as very close partners during the year 9032.” I turned back to the scouter. “Now, Your telling me to destroy the very person that I have given so much to protect and entrusted with very personal info, someone who saw me in my darkest times, I don’t think I can do it” “Well you’ll need to do that sooner or later. You can’t avoid it forever” “I know” “Well, Good night sir” Then the scouter left my craft.

Unknown to anyone that night, Reginald summoned my own men to his location. “Gentlemen” He explained, “Your cause is noble, but your will-power is not very strong. You will, from now on, Obey me and serve me only.” “Please tell us our mission” “Yor mission will be to protect me at all costs.” “Alex will try to attack this location at sun-rise tomorrow.” Reginald, Now aware of my plan, made preparations for my arrival.

That morning, I was informed that most of the men were gone. “Great” I commented as I grabbed my pulse cannon before leaving the protection of my own shuttle-craft. “What’s wrong?” One of the other commanding officers from another battle-cruisers strike-team inquired to me as we walked to the turrets location. “Oh, we’re not just going to fight a normal adverary, like the krulians, or the naurtai. This individual used to be very close to me.” “Ok?” “I don’t have my crew, and I can’t possibly win this war myself.” “We will do anything we can to ensure that we come out of this war as the victorious.” “That’s what I am very worried about” I commented before we made the ascent to the location of Reginald. AFter the massive elevator stopped and the doors opened, We unleashed our fire-power. My new legion and I fought our way through the hoard of creatures until we stood right in front of the very dome that concealed Reginald himself.

Luckily,we didn’t need to blast our way in since Reginald opened the massive dome. At first, We saw more cloaked figures around reginald. “Welcome” The one in the middle said in a raspy tone. “Reginald” I remarked, “We can end this before irreparable damage is done.” “Your absolutely right Alexx” He commented then turned and shot a poliron burst from the implant in his hand at us, killing 20 of our men. “Kill him!” I yelled, and we took our chance and fired everything we had in his direction. “Too late” Reginald sneered before he suddenly vanished from our sight. WE returned to the surface of the planet after we secured that turret, and proceeded to eradicate all of Reginalds remaining legions. This war was the first of many that would be fought in hopes of keeping the multi-verse at peace. It took the massive legions we had available during the fight 3- months to secure that whole planet. After we successfully liberated that world and its remaining inhabitants from Reginald's occupation, we partied very hard for the remainder of that same week, but I didn’t party since I remained on-board my cruiser and tried to conduct very intense research into while Reginald turned against me and what he would do next.
