I keep my love for you frozen

so it can survive,

 I keep it at slow cell pace

to keep it alive.

I also freeze the pain, but its heat makes it in vain.

I wish that I can freeze every single feeling,

perhaps it'll assist my heart in healing.

And although it sounds absurd,

I wish that I can freeze some of your words.

You are part of me;

I wish I can freeze that, too,

and congeal the fact that I belong to you.

To turn into frost--that hardens into ice,

is the only way to muffle my heart's cries.

I cannot freeze what is too sheer,

you are not happy; you've made that clear.

I keep my love for you frozen so it can survive,

and I'll keep it like so if it keeps me alive.
