Fall

I’m standing on the precipice,

It makes me feel so small;

All that height and all that space,

Into it I just fall.

The lights, they swirl around me

As I tumble through the air,

It’s like the inside of a hurricane

And I don’t even care.

So many different colors rush

And they obscure my vision --

An acrobatic aero-dance,

A soon-to-be collision.

This falling’s unavoidable,

I’ve come to realize,

Since I let myself just take a glimpse

And looked into your eyes!
