Hitching A Ride

I’m hitching a ride on a seagull,

I need it to help cross the waves,

I’m hitching a ride on a seagull --

I just hope that this seagull behaves.

I’m hitching a ride on a seagull

But the journey is many a mile;

I’m hitching a ride on a seagull

And clinging on tight to a smile.

I’m hitching a ride on a seagull,

They say birds know the most direct route;

I’m hitching a ride on a seagull

And hoping it don’t give me the boot.

I’m hitching a ride on a seagull,

Over the sea that’s so blue.

I’m hitching a ride on a seagull

Cause I’ve decided I want to see you!
