Before me a wall breaches the vast sky,

from side to side, no end in sight.

The pain in my abdomen grows,

the longer I'm separated from the other side.

Yet, I do not know what is there.

I can see through this barrier,

but the other side is unclear.

I am afraid of the fog,

but I yearn for it.

The giant moves towards me,

imperceptibly gaining speed,

and I can't help but feel claustrophobic.

The brick and mortar comes 'round, full circle,

and my once great plains are reduced

to a small backyard.

The wall has stopped.

The mist seeps through,

masking the monstrosity in a white canvas.

Sparks flash in the mist,

and noises echo.

Before me a mist breaches the sky,

from side to side, no end in sight.

The pain in my abdomen grows,

the longer I'm separated from the inside.
