how i felt a few years ago but didn't publish, i went thru some dark times, separation etc this was my suffering

The darkness closes in to comfort...

As I yet again retreat into my shell

Like a thick blanket of numbness

That is my own personall hell.

 

The all father reaches, with icy hand

To guide me into the limitless never

From which I will have to take a stand

If i am to return to take my palce forever

 

But the darkness holds like the devils shroud

That will not release its evil talloned grip

It silently laughs, mocking me so proud

That my mind it hopes and preys will slip

 

With all my might I try, but it's tauts do stay

All my strength it does sap and drain

So in my shell I stay forever and a day

Destined to suffer in my internal pain.
