Lonely Dance
A poem by Gaia of Autumnia

She used to dance,
in her past
She gave it up for a romance,
didn't remember when she loved last

But her dream was shot
She felt her heart break
This wasn't what she thought
Realizing her mistake

She was so sad
For in the present, she cries
He was always so mad
He only told her lies

She needed to get out
Had to leave
She knew this without a doubt
and left late in the eve

She now is alone
her next step uncertain
Her thoughts whirl like a cyclone
She runs, happy she took action

Her past becoming a blur
She thinks of him, return to him? Nevermore!
Only thinking about her future
Where she'll dance once more

Way to go girl. Never give up on one's dream. Stick to it. Love it.
