our hair and the rim of your eyes were the color blue,

a summer night at the beach you know what normal teenagers do,

your little brother came up to me he was only two,

he told me he liked my hair because it was the color blue,

i then looked up and i saw was your face,

god i should've known it was a disgrace,

a summer went by,

i cried and cried,

wondering what i did to lose such a "perfect guy,"

i felt empty,

you made believe what we had was endlessly,

now i sit alone and write an unnecessary poem,

about the "perfect guy" yea that was a lie,

but now i know what we had wasn't true,

i can't wait till karma gets back at you,

thank you but now i am no longer blue.
