It's 2 am and too dark,

No chirp no crick,

Silence prevalent stark.

Out of the blues,

Eye opened to see the black.

The darkness shone at me,

To show all that was left back.

Some memories down the lane,

Few to forget few forgotten.

Few smiles of the feats,

Few regrets, a bagful of cotton.

Regret of what I let go,

Regret of what I could do,

Regret of what I let be,

Regret of what I chose not to.

Regret of what I did express,

Regret of what I did scorn,

Regret of every second second,

Regret that this list can go on.

Drench the cotton of regrets,

Soak it bad in trail of tear,

All it does is loads the life,

Instead I cherish the present dear.

Life's A bulk as heavy as air,

A tear as sad as a smile,

A blow as harsh as feather touch,

All on the way we welcome a while.
