A glimpse into the life of a young orphan who hurt by his parents' death seeks a question regarding the whereabouts of god and is answered by a mysterious gentleman.......!

The world around me is so enormous and ao fast like a lightening streak,

yet, no one is able to answer a single question my soul seeked.

In the houses I went, on the roads I travelled day and night,

with the same question, I heard the same answer,"lad, you have not asked a question, so right."

One fine morning, I recollect of asking a man among the crowd,

"Where is God? Have you seen Him?". He winked at me and took me away from the road,

and answered,"Come with me, my dear son."

My little feet paced him, as I picked up a slow run.

Along the way, I asked him with a merry shout,

"Why do you call me son, sir? I've a great doubt."

He glanced at me with the corner of his eyes and managed a mild smile.

He said," Your first question is yet to be answered, my child."

The fast paced walk of the man now gradually alleviated.

The only thing at that moment my tired legs anticipated.

As the evening approached an end, I could feel the warmth of the faded sun rays.

leaping over the grass and rocks we crossed every natural phase.

Across a cluster of trees, and now my body ached with pain.

I wanted to desist this endless seeming run.

At last he stopped at a huge clearing, gazing towards the spanning horizon.

I approached behind him, to peep out at the setting sun.

I heaved a sigh of relief as I balanced myself on my aching legs.

The man still with a stubborn confidence, so divine, stared into the plum sky.

The panaromic view of the scene took my breathe away.

I rolled my eyes over the never-ending beauty of nature adorned by sun's last rays.

The meadows seemed like the gardens of heaven.

The  wooden farmhouses and villages looked analogous to a dreamt haven.

The clouds looked like pieces if cotton weaved into th blue sky,

and the cattle with it's shepherd seemed to resemble the toys placed by the one above so high.

And, when the last birds flew across, and the crimson sky bid farewell to setting sun,

the man asked me,"Can you tell me what is God, my dear son?".

I stood there, my eyes shone with confusion, bathed in the tints of sunlight,

and I answered," He, who can't be seen, but can be felt,

He, who is endless and upon whom thousands have faith."

The man asked me,"Does universe end?"

I replied relunctantly,"No!"

The man asked me,"Does time end?"

I repeated,"No."

The man asked me,"Does beauty of nature end?"

I replied quickly,"No!"

I looked at him opinely for more questions to answer,

As every answer I gave him, I approached to my answers nearer.

"Where are your parents?"He asked me with a familiar belief.

I answered, "Among the crescendoes of skies and stars they live."

"So, now answer me", he questioned,"Can you see your parents?"

I replied wistfully,"No, sir."

"Can you feel them? If you want to.", he asked again.

I replied with a spark in my eyes,"Surely, sir."

"Did your parents meet an end?", he threw back a lethal question.

"Yes, sir!", I answered woefully, away I wanted to run.

"Then, how fo you feel them?", he asked, once again.

I opened my mouth to speak but failed to utter a word.

Letting out a sigh, he asked,"Do you have faith, that if you,

would shine in your life they would be happy."

That's really touching, the way that you ended it was really good because it gave a good message about continuing on in life. I liked this conversation between these two people, it was a clever way to suggest something more in life and the hope that can come from that. It was a lovely poem.
