I need to move,

I want to live free,

Without that groove

I can’t be me.

In one place too long,

All good fortune wanes,

When I feel that motion I can’t go wrong,

The worst of prisons is to stay the same!

I want a car

That will roll fast.

When I travel far

I am gone at last!

I want a plane,

Cause then I may fly high.

Land in Spain,

And in one place to remain,

I shall struggle to try.

If I can’t have a plane,

Then gimme a train!

Spectacular scenery shall pass me by,

But the thought of missing it all only makes me cry!

At times a motorbike

Is what I really like,

The rumble of the motor,

The gasoline odor.

Moving between the seas of west and east

Is the life for me!

If all else fails,

Then I shall travel on foot,

Living ‘neath the stars

With a poetry book.

Walking with a pack

Upon my back,

I am destined to go far

Just by leaving this yard!
