John Lennon--'Watching The Wheels'

People say I'm crazy
Doing what I'm doing
Well, they give me all kinds of warnings
To save me from ruin
When I say that I'm okay, well they look at me kinda strange
"Surely, you're not happy now, you no longer play the game"

People say I'm lazy
Dreaming my life away
Well they give me all kinds of advice
Designed to enlighten me
When I tell them that I'm doing fine watching shadows on the wall
"Don't you miss the big time boy, you're no longer on the ball?"

I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on the merry-go-round
I just had to let it go

Ah, people ask me questions
Lost in confusion
Well, I tell them there's no problem
Only solutions
Well, they shake their heads and they look at me, as if I've lost my mind
I tell them there's no hurry, I'm just sitting here doing time

I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on the merry-go-round

I just had to let it go
I just had to let it go
I just had to let it go

NOT John Lennon: 'Watching the Wheels'

People say he's is crazy,
doing what he's doing,
but some just ignore all the warnings

that would save us from ruin
When I say beware, his supporters get in my face

"Surely you can see it our way," I just say 'join the human race'

People say I'm crazy, not just going along
Well, they give me a lot of reasons,
but all they do frighten me
When I tell them he's so wrong to want to build a wall
they don't listen, the Kool-Aid's got them all

I'm just sitting here watching you plunder,
watch you destroy the Earth,
You never were on the sanity train,
America last, not first

Ah, so few asking questions
Willful deafness, among the most hardcore

Well I scream of all the problems,

with seemingly no solution
Well the look at me and say, "why can't you fall in line?
I tell them no, I'm just sitting here marking time

I'm just sitting here watching the wheels come flying off
so sad to see them roll
no longer hooked to reality

I just have to watch them go

No choice but watch 'em go
No choice but watch 'em go
