To test a pen; a pen

You’ve bought but never used.

You wanted a specific type of pen

On which the nub is rather new.

But, in looking, picked up what seems

To be a pen for handwriting,

For schoolchildren,

For a special use.

Perhaps it’s good, perhaps it’s bad,

That’s what this is about

Seeing if the pen will write

In writing thin or stout.

 

I have to hold it upright,

If I want to get results.

And that’s not good enough for me;

The ink flow starts to halt.

I don’t much like the feel of this,

There seems to be a fault?

The pen is going –
