Another time where poetry stopped me from committing suicide. Don't know if this is relatable or not. Publishing it anyway.

I almost cried tonight

Almost felt tears on my cheek

I almost cried a thousand tears

That wash away misfortune

I almost cried my cold heart out

But it’s still in its cage

I almost didn’t die tonight

But it pushed me over the edge,

My dear

I broke into a thousand shards

Splinterings of broken slate

And I’m picking up the pieces

But I’ll never be the same

Because as hard as you try

You cannot put slate back together.
