It’s rare to see you nowadays

In dreams of now or old

Your face is slowly drifting down

Toward the memory hole

A church bell rings, somewhere far off

Morning mass commences

As I walk along, thinking of

My imaginary romance.

It was just a crush, they'd say

And who is they? Cause no-one cares

About my life / About my day

Despite my need to share.

Yes, of course it was just a crush.

But I’m obsessive like that so it still hurts.

Sorry.

I fucked it up.

The bell rings once more in the abandoned church.

Then, silence.
