Lives ruled by numbers and hands

We rush and run to catch up with time

But nobody fully understands

That neglecting a moment is such a crime

Children are innocent and live for today

The future will rarely cross their mind

Teens want to grow up and run away

A balance in life is hard to find

We grow older and older and want to slow down

Look back at the old times and smile at all the fun

Regrets of missed chances turn it into a frown

Remember all you wanted then was to run.

Sit back and breathe all of it in

Now, we realise that rushing was truly a sin.
