High School

I started my high school experience on a note I was very familiar with. A move you see in my three years of middle school I went to a new school every year. Near the end of 8th grade I got all signed up at Harrison. Than near the end of summer we moved to Murry Hills which was latterly right across the street from Mitchell. So I missed the first week of school getting enrolled here. Half way through 9th grade I got off my IEP. Also half way through 9th grade we got evicted. So we moved a little further away. This was our third apartment in one year. Come tenth grade my grades where good and I was on a good track. But near the end of the year my grandma had another surgery. Soon before that I had phenomena. So I ended up missing 8 out of 11 days that was enough to drop most my grades to Fs. But that wasn’t the worst part my grandma who’s my care giver lost her sight in her left eye. So she can no longer drive. So now my aunt has to do all the driving for two houses. I finished the year with a 3.7 GPA. That summer we moved even further away from Mitchell this was our 14th move in my life. My home school is now Palmer but my aunt said she would take me, my, brother, and sister to school every morning so I could finish out here. At the start of 11th grade I knew I wanted to graduate early. I just didn’t know what I would need to do. So I talked to my counselor she told me I could go to night school or graduate at semester next year. I chose night school so starting September 27 I would go to two schools a day from 7:40am to 9:40pm. 14 hours a day 63 hours a week. It ended December 20th this was the most work I’ve ever done in my life. I got my four credits with all As. I got 11 credits that semester now I get to graduate on the 24th. I will be the first in my family to and the first to go to college.
