The fire burning in your pupils; that fire from the sun,

the heat that kept my heart so warm, I realize that is gone.

The beauty in those eyes that irrevocable they seemed,

don't signify to me what they used to mean.

I spot of a change of season--autumn is what lies,

tell me what's the reason, why there's no more summer in your eyes.

Darling, on your skin; I see no garden anymore,

because there is no spring like there was before.

What happened to the eyes hotter than a summer's day?

the magic that you had inside them sadly went away.

How did that authentic summer die when it was so strong?

I'm no longer mesmerized something must be wrong.

Your charisma was the summer but you lost it all,

and though I still grow number; in your eyes I cannot fall.

Now your eyes are dark and no longer pure,

I cannot see that spark because everything's obscure.

You are not the same--you are someone else,

careless and so vain that the heat repels.

Your flaming optic veins now begin to die,

those that burned the pain with the summer in your eyes.

The cadaver of that season that once lived inside those eyes,

is silently the reason to all my secret cries.
