On to my future and one of the hardest subjects for me right now because I don’t really know what I want to do. I know that they say it’s ok not to know because you’ll find lots of things that interest you in college. It kind of bothers me that I don’t know what I want to do, while all my friends know where they want to go and what they want to do for the rest of their lives.

I’ve taken lots of those test that help you narrow down the options of what you want to do but none of them have showed me what I don’t already know. So this is a really hard topic for me when I get those questions about “What do you want to do when you are older, or in college what do you want to study.

They have found that 45% of students in a survey are ready for college, knowing what they want to do. Another survey says that 87% of students want to at least get a degree in college and land a job in life.

I asked my mom some questions about my school life and I am towards it.

“What is my attitude towards school,” I asked

“You are a person that loves to get work done right and doesn’t like to procrastinate with your homework or projects.” Said my mom.

Another question I asked was “Have you tried to push me towards doing better at school,”

My mom’s response was “I’d like to think that I have pushed you towards doing your best at school so you will be ready for the big real world and I will continue to do that.”

So as my plans goes now I will be going to PPCC for the basics of college because why would you go to a big college for experience you can get for half the price somewhere else. But after that I have no idea what I am going to major in or what college I will be going to finish that major that I choose.

So with the help and my mom and my family members I will be doing everything I can do to prove that I can go above and beyond with school. Also help my mom live a better life later in life, than the one she has now because she deserves so much better than what she has.
