Sister, your sallow look tells me all,

sister, you cannot take another fall.

Sister, death is written in your design,

my dearest, your eyes no longer shine.

I look at you and I recall our days of glory,

and now you die and I begin to tell your story.

Sister with the strength and guardian of my life,

you lie upon a bed and all I do is cry.

Darkness awaits you and it doesn't wan to wait,

and death is the plan you cannot escape.

'Sister do not fear'; is what I used to plead,

'All will turn out fine'; but now you are deceased.

Before your grave I cry and tremble while I stand,

white roses as you liked and your child in my hands.

Heavy mood today and cloudy is the sky,

and so you drift away to another life.

Goodbye I say to thee, I tell you as I cry,

and though you are not with me,

you're inside my eyes.
