Whether it’s kicking in the gutter

strapping your shoes

drinking a bottle

safe inside

You can cry at night

you can watch birds fly

you can talk about pretty butterflies

your mothers gonna die

your aunt your brother

Even your dad

your bottles just a bottle

it can’t replace a dad

I’ve seen you try and try

a bitch with a lack of cadence

a yell with your lover

a dip in the weather

Fuck them all

Not an excuse a reason

to die to live to cry

No dreams just bottles

by your bed side

She’s a professional drunk

she will never die

the stories never done
