Evil rests in many places
To be awakened when darkness comes
Evil, it has many faces
In everyone, the old and young

Evil can be big or small
Depending on the job
With the form of a human or a thrall
It could kill, steal or rob

But do not be fooled
Evil can be kind
It lures you in
Attacks you from behind

Evil can be the light
Shining in the dark
Where misfortune strikes
Hurts you with a spark

Evil always lies in wait
In everyone, it's true
But the trigger has to take the bait
For evil to ensue
