"To My Mother"

Gloomy wind blew, upon mountain dew To the Nightingale song my heart drew Adieu! Adieu! My Mother Burry me beside my sister Under the yew, in the valley view

Dig deep my grave, O labour crew Don't have mercy upon me For I never could return her brew

Put me in a coffin bright new Don't cry a bit upon me Just say the prayers that you knew

I can see the Angels coming through You don't moan my mother As I am in the world which is true

Now understand the affection undue Forgive me my mother Never could say that I love you! Adieu! Adieu! My Mother Burry me beside my sister Under the yew, in the valley view (Munawar)
