This is a poem that I thought of after visiting the Holocaust Museum.

You think I don't know

That you spit out lies.

Lies of innocence and acceptance

That fill me with rage.

You try but you fail

To conceal an ink blot

On your empty page.

When you called me names

You said, 'I didn't say that.'

When you threw me out

You said, 'I included you in.'

So don't think I don't see

Through the veneer you have painted

All over the things

You have done.
