Cup of Tea

Strain, Stir, Sip, Slurp

The Sounds of a tastebud sensation.

Steaming hot,

Turns to luke warm.

A glass half full

Becomes completely empty.

Every last drop

Consumed and enjoyed.

Sweet, Smooth, Swallow, Savor

When the sun comes up,

And when it sets.

To prevent a yawn,

Or send you to your dreams.

To quench your thirst,

Or keep you warm.

To tame your fever,

And keep you healthy.

Take a sip and you will see;

There’s nothing more soothing

Than a cup of tea.
