commentary - this one is about the memory of me and my ex dancing to "lack of color" after we broke up. It's a short piece but I get many emails about this one.

Ocean floor, lava dance

Please play the song

“Lack of Color” by Death Cab For Cutie

That was the last song we slow danced too

We even moved the couch, I think I saw you smile

But god knows what you were thinking on the inside

You always kept the awful thoughts to yourself

I wish I could’ve said more and did more to help

I still hear your Peggy Bundy laugh

And of course I remember the Jerry Seinfeld face

But you hurt me so bad and don’t care

I feel horrible some nights, like right now

I wonder how you look in your new movie

The world and settings, holidays spent without me

I sometimes dream about telling you off

The last one I dreamt you died and I didn’t want to go to your funeral

This might be because I don’t want you at mine

If you ever gave a shit about me, you wouldn’t have done what you did

You would miss me and tell me that you want to be family again

Not remove your clothes for random guys
