All along Christa had been searching and dissatisfied. Christa had a normal childhood at most, for the first three years of life, and after that her life took a turn. From that turn, Christa reached a point in her life, where none of her present was acceptable and none of the justifications for such, satisfying. Christa lost interest in the daily pragmatic things, and practicality became flavorless. Unlike those who find great joy in reading several sorts of literature for its creativity, Christa sought only those derived from experience and geared towards the exploration of the self; a self that becomes questioned. For Christa, empty fiction (that which is derived only from the imagination with no true connection to real events) was worthless and unappealing. She sought something else; something that spoke to her. She sought substance from literature and from people. Christa was in search for something, but it was something she was aware may not even exist. The thought was terrifying.
