All the memories in my mind

The moments of happiness, smiling and laughter

Merely fragments of my past

The sounds and emotions still feel so real

The friendships so familiar

But non-existant

Here I sit, in my old age

Pondering about the life of my former self

Silently I wait for Death’s arrival

For I live in the past, where friends live and love

But now they have passed, and I am alone

Spare for the memories of them

Here I sit alone, waiting to be reunited
