We Must Be Twins

I think you must be my sister,

Or maybe you’re my brother,

No matter whichever you are

We should play with one another.

But hang on just a minute

There is a pane of glass,

It’s right there in between us

And I cannot quite get past.

Every move I go to make

You just make it too;

I’m going to have to think now

Of some different things to do.

But I cannot catch you out,

My mind is in a spin

You look so much just like me

You must be my twin.

We’ll have to work around it

And just play ‘Bat-a-paw’

Until one of us can find a way

To slip right by this door!
