The wraith master

I am a twin girl unidentical, but still a twin!

I could almost feel my brother’s pain not only was I his twin but I could also see his torture from my own hiding place. Our parents had told us both to “hide from the witch hunter.” We had chosen separate hiding places I had chosen inside my wardrobe while my brother had hidden under my bed. I’ll admit it wasn’t the best idea to hide so close to one another but we were rushed.

But the witch hunter had a dog, it was a German shepherd crossed with Rottweiler it was a mean, however loyal dog! It had found my brother within seconds and it proceeded with dragging Maximilian out with its teeth not working about the victim of circumstance. Of biting through the flesh and I heard his bone snap. The witch hunter held my brother up by the wound on his leg to ask him “where is your sister? If you tell me I can make your pain go away, or if you don’t tell me I can make it worse.”

“She is hiding, but I dunno where.”

The witch hunter flung my brother across the room like a ragdoll breaking his neck, fulfilling his promise he pulled a gun out of his jacket waited a moment for the stormy weather to thunder so it would muffle the shot while he waited for the loud noise to come he aimed it at his heart while I was to downgrade from petrified to terrified the sight of his gun gave me a boost toward my goal. As my mind changed I let out a gasp that alerted the witch hunter to my presence. Quickly I moved towards the attic hole that was built into my wardrobe’s roof the ladder which made It possible for my short legs to climb into it, even though he made a grab at my leg 4 rungs up the ladder thanking my father silently for booby-trapping the ladder with razor-blades on the insides of the ladders sides so I could kick the fools hands off me and into the sharp pieces of metal awaiting his fingers to make them bloody, to which he wasn’t expecting so I had gotten the best of him but my luck had just run out as the man still had enough strength to light a match and toss it up into the attic, only one thing remained that I could do to save myself I head toward the roof hatch keeping carefully to the rafters. his plan was to smoke me out but I was fast on my feet and was already halfway to the hatch when the flame landed on a rafter so I continued running and didn’t stop until I was next to the lever that’d open it up for me when it had burned so the flame had jumped onto the insulation-batts igniting a big fire. That caused its’ own set of problems like heating the roof to shoe melting temperatures.

How am I meant to get down from up here I asked myself.

There was a large trampoline in my backyard I could lower myself on to it or else half way at least without breaking any limbs. The witch hunter saw me out my window. He pointed at me and ordered his dog to get me to which it obeyed or started to. His dog did a running jump which shattered the glass of what used to be my bedroom window. The creature let out an almighty howl and yawned with the remaining blood combined with it’s saliva strands made It’s mouth look like it was infested with redback spiders. Then I did something I’d never done before, it was instinctual, I talked to the ghosts of my parents they were wraiths. I spoke in a calm tone despite what’d happened “can you help me?” The witch hunter fell on his back his face convulsed with fear and pain as I dislocated every bone in his body with my telekinesis after I had tossed aside his dog I had then started with his jaw. I have no control over any of the special abilities that had plagued me for 2years after I had turned 3. I had other types of kinesis that always appear at the most inconvenient times. I suppose that is the reason the witch hunter is after me.
