When the flesh rips under the knife
And the blood flows spilling life
And the greedy grassy ground drinks claret red
The soft shiny saliva runs over the dead
Wipe the blade on your sleeve lest it should rust
Then stop to drink dark blood because you must
Soft foot away before the dead is cold
Blood on your finger, laughter in your soul
