Of thorns on his head,
Mocked him, beat him

They Placed the Crown

They placed the crown
Of thorns on his head.
Mocking him how dare he call himself the
Messiah.

Nails pierced skin and bone
Our saviors life hanging
Literally
How dare he call himself the Messiah
They mocked
Free yourself from this cross
Save yourself from this death
But he hung on that tree for you
And me.

He can't be the Messiah they said
As the tomb that held his once lifeless body
Rolled away and he revealed those nail pierced hands
To Mary.
