On that last day which will come without a date or time, I ask a final request.
That on that day I am secure in my faith as I had been from the beginning of my spiritual awakening, that there be a inhumane peace in my heart, a praise in my mouth, joy in my step and a light that burn so bright the enemy be blinded by my very presence in a room....but those who share the flame be over joyed and and jovial as I.
I ask that on that day, I leave each member of my family, every friend, every foe, every acquaintance in clarity, the chance to love, apologize, accept, and be merry with my brothers and sisters and depart only for a while until later in our promised forever.
Let me be blessed to gaze upon the heavens from earth one last time, on that day dear lord, allow me pardon to gaze into the stars of your skies as I had been enchanted by them since a girl with knowledge now that heaven lyes on the other side, during this hour I pray I find rest out of the dusk that passes by of my mortal hour and into the dawn of your arrival that I be blessed with new eyes to behold.
Amen.
