The day I stopped believing in love was when he made me see,

that no matter what he wasn't meant for me.

The day my wounded little heart was broken one more time,

I realized love is nothing but a beautiful lie.

The hurt is there but the tears are not,

and thinking of him I can't simply stop.

I wasted my time trying to be perfect for him,

but I failed to penetrate deeper than his beautiful skin.

And now, what do I do?

Keep playing his game?

No matter what, it won't be the same.

My conscience screams; "Stop and say no!"

but my weak heart can't let him go.

But love is a myth at least in my life,

it doesn't exist but it's a beautiful lie.

I will love him even after her said to me,

"I'm sorry, I'm not available emotionally".

Deceptions and pain I've only been through,

my conclusion to this, love isn't true.

It's a beautiful lie young girls believe,

my time is up for being naive.

His transition is over just like I foretold,

but his smile and memories forever I'll hold.

Whether I'll stay or I'll go is still undefined,

but love will be always the most beautiful lie.
