Summer

Summer is fading

And so is the sun,

The birds are all flying

To lands full of fun.

The crops are all in,

The winter can come,

All the houses are warm

And all the stables are snug.

The snow is falling

In little white stars,

Softly and snugly,

to warm up the earth.

Then spring will come,

All light and bright,

To warm up the sun,

And the birds will come back

To this new land of fun.
