They’re always there and they will find a way to get in.

They want to use you, control you and get you to do horrible things.

I’ve seen it happen with my own eyes.

The haunted look in people’s eyes as they stumble around like zombies, vacant expressions as they wander.

It’s all their fault.

They wiggle their way inside and take over your mind, you become a husk of nothingness and I can tell it’s coming for me soon.

I can see it in the way everyone stares as I walk through town, there’s a mischievous and malicious intent in their eyes.

For months I’ve been wracking my brains to figure out how they do it, just how they manage to gain control of all these people.

But I know now.

There are so many open orifices on the human body.

These things simply pick a hole and wriggle its way inside before finding a path to the brain it desperately needs to survive.

I won’t let that happen to me.

I know what I must do.

But I’m just so nervous.

There are so many holes to cover.

The nostrils, ear lobes, mouth, genitals and even the eyes are accessible.

The threaded needle has been pressed between the pads of my shaking thumb and forefinger as I rally myself mentally to do this, but it’s so scary.

What if it’s too late?

Will I be sealing this thing inside me forever?

I don’t feel any different, but anything can happen.

But if something was in me now, then it would simply enter at another date.

That is why this had to be done.

I already knew where I wanted to begin, so I closed my eyes and took a long, slow and deep breath.

After reopening them, I turn my eyes down to my stomach, my fingers pinching the two sides of the skin together as I move the needle down to make the first push through.

The first bite of pain to seal them out.
