Hush little baby don’t you cry
all hope is not lost, don’t despair.
Dry your tears and don’t ask why
for amid all darkness light’s there.

Through the alleys of hopelessness
there’ll always be a respite.
In the abyss of destitution’s madness
there’ll always be salvation, in spite.

Hush little baby don’t you cry
for all pains are just momentary.
Brush your eyes and tears to dry
in faith, restitution shall always carry.

Though all seemed lost and perished
there’s light at the end of a long tunnel.
Though we feel betrayed and impoverished
it’s only a lesson gushing through a funnel.

Hush little baby don’t you cry
there’s a reason for all that transpires.
Never say surrender, never say die
for our tribulations are meant to inspire.

In a realm of uncertainty and delectability
there permeates stains and pains.
Where extremes overpower normality
and pandemonium thrives with disdain.

We are all sent here to live lives
some may die, yet some survive.
Some may sacrifice, still some contrive
no matter, for soon we’ll all strive.

Like a lonely road, barren and mundane
dotted along the brim may be flowers.
Still many may turn depressed and insane
in stupor state they retreat to cower.

But beyond everything, all is so temporary
it’s but a nightmare waiting for wake.
Soon all calm will allay, since all is momentary
life is but transient, where only He shall take.
