Favours go unanswered
When expectations grows
A doormat for the users
For the friendly path, you chose

A heart taken for granted
From a soul that does not care
Light into the darkness
From a love that’s never there

The sacrificial timeline
Of everything you’ve done
Unravelled by realisation
Of what you have become

So time to break the shackles
Return to whence you came
A place where time was all yours
When no-one called your name

The depths of blackened silence
Saves the porcelain heart
Time is nature's healer
When life just falls apart

Remove yourself from everything
Until you find yourself again
Life will be there when you come back
But this time free from pain
