I wake up… I think, I am not sure. The world seems to be spinning, the only thing that isn’t, is me. Realizing that I am lying down on the edge of a cliff. I scream. People are fighting around me and soon a cute teenage boy comes running toward me, grabbing me by the waist. It’s almost as if his eyes are twinkling.

“Alice!” He yells, “are you okay?” He seems to be looking at me but I am not sure who he is talking to. I look around, but there is no one there. It finally strikes me. I am Alice!

“Yeah… yeah I’m fine,” I say.

“No, you are not!” he answers sternly. I don’t know what to say, no… no I really am not fine but I am not hurt, so what am I supposed to say? No… I’m not, but you make me feel better ‘cuz you look good. I giggle with the thought of it in my head.

“Alice! Focus! This is not a good time to laugh!” He skans me like he is about to pounce on me and eat me alive.

“Oh… I… I’m sorry,” I say shyly.

“Alice! Do you remember your name?” He says.

“That’s a stupid question… Idiot,” I say with a laugh, “But if you still want to know, my name is Alice!”

“Okay, fair enough, now what is your last name?” He says, his eyes narrowing down on me dangerously.

“I don’t know! How would I….” I fade away in the middle of my sentence, realizing I probably should know my last name. “Oh… right...”

The teenage boy sighed.

“Okay come on, we have to hurry.” He rolls his eyes.

“Where are we going?” I say, stumbling along the thin path, that is leading away from the cliff to a huge building. It is painted grey and smoke is coming out of it’s massive pipes.

“Follow… just follow me,” the teenage boy says as he squeezes my hand tightly, sending a shiver of satisfaction up my back. I look at the back of his head as he pulls me along the path. When I woke up I felt so sore, almost as if I had been shot.

“Please tell me where we are going!” I say, trying to stop, but he is so strong that I have to twist my hand away in order for him to let go.

“I told you to follow me!” He yells.

“Why?” I demanded.

“Just trust me!” He looks as if I were to say no, he would break my foot.

“Why in the world should I trust you?” I say shaking my head and trying to get out of his grip once again.

“Oh my freaking god! Can you just listen to me for once? I just need to talk to you!”

“Then why are you taking me to that building? We can talk here!”
