There are parables about the shore of life

And how it touches that sea of humanity.

There are tales that tell of those that fished

From boats, like arks, of security.

They cast their nets as they were taught

By their fathers and those before them;

But the more they fished the less they caught

Of fish --- and of men.

Then along came a man from Galilee

Who told them to cast on the other side.

Take them ALL in and then do the sorting

For there is coming a turbulent tide.

So it was, --- the parables were written

Using the symbols that would forever be

Associated with the lamb of God;

A boat, fishing, the shore, and the sea.
