Dear reader,

I must say with complete certainty that you are a fool.

Don’t get me wrong, by no means did I claim you were just a run of the mill, everyday, average Joe that happened to be one pickle short of a picnic, oh no. I claimed with complete certaintaty that you are a fool who has fallen into the grasp of love’s arms. And with this declaration, I must query, aren’t we all?

Fools, I mean.

Now that the necessary berating is out of the way, I put on display (much to my chagrin on account of it being horrendously barf-worthy) exhibition #1 in the Museum of GTSLTIL (Go to Sleep Lyla’s Thoughts, it’s Late), a bit of a mouth full, really, but I digress:

How long does it take to fall in love?

For some, it’s in the blink of an eye, bat an eye and a feeling that fills the entirety of your soul with warmth appears. For others, it’s a much more gradual process. The little things like hand holding at sunset, cooking breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning, or even just laying side by side in each other’s company. For some, it’s the little things that count.

Now, you may be asking me, Lyla, you seem like a sensible young woman, - which I assure you, I am not-, when did you fall in love? And let me soothe your questioning mind by saying, I wish I had a clue. I know not when I fell in love or when I fell out of it. But as the seasons change and the leaves begin to fall like I assume my heart once did, I catch myself wondering when or even if I actually really truly did.

Fall, I mean.

So reader, whether you’re tall or short, old or young, I urge you to follow me on my journey of love findings, because with unwavering faith in the Museum of my Mind and relentless heart-pouring, I just might be able to solve my own goddamn mystery.

Buckle up your seatbelts people, because you’re in for one hell of a ride.
