Stream Of Thought

Another crack, it has appeared, but this is more like a ravine,

a giant gap that has been left where the stream of thought had been.

Protectionism is the game, co-operation now has gone,

another war is brewing up – it won’t take very long

if all the countries in the world, their leaders only care

about putting themselves above the rest – they’re sure to take us there.

A conflict of interest there will always be, for what is best for one

is disaster for another, causing things to come undone.

How much more cracking up can the Earth withstand

before it fall to pieces, and the sea eats up the land.

If there is no consensus, if agreements can’t be made

mankind will become like dinosaurs as in the past they fade.
