He walked towards her home with a bouquet of roses and a box of her favourite chocolates. He knocked the door twice. She didn't open the door yet. He knocked the door for the third time. She opened the door now but without seeing his face she quickly turned around and walked a few steps. He came in and closed the door.

He kept the bouquet and box on a table and went towards her and said "I left you 11 months ago. And I don't regret it. You know I have always loved you so much and I know that you still have that love on me."

She did not turn around but slightly turned her head and said "You left me months ago. What makes you believe I still love you?"

"You still remember my favourite colour Green and you are in a Green dress now" he said.

Now she turned around and saw his face after 11 months of their separation. Tears started rolling down her cheeks but she was fighting back the tears. "I don't want to see your face anymore." She said.

"So, I shall start wearing face masks from tomorrow", he tried to make her smile again.

"No. I am serious. I don't want to hear your voice either", she said and again turned around and walked a few steps.

He also turned around with their backs facing each other. He quietly texted her "I want a small favour from my dear girl."

She received the text and replied "what do u want?"

He texted her "Sweet Memories In Lip's Expression!"

"What's that!" she replied.

"SMILE. All I always needed is to see your smile. Now turn around", he texted.

She turned around and he was standing with rose bouquet in his hand. He walked towards her a step and said,

"11 months ago, I left u for an older love, my mother. I have loved you before and I loved you afterwards. 10 months ago she passed away. Losing two persons I loved the most took me this much time to heal back to normal. I lost a mother's care and love. I don't want to lose you. The only person who could take her position is you"

he sat on one knee and held the bouquet towards her and continued,

"My mother's last wish and my only wish, will you be my mother".

Tears started rolling down her eyes and this time she couldn't control her tears. She accepted the bouquet and said,

"I waited all this time for you to come back to my life. But I didn't expect you should suffer this much to.."

he held her hand and pulled towards him. He wiped off her tears and said, "I never want to see that tears again". He placed his one hand on her waist and held her tight. They are so close that she can feel his heart beat louder and he can feel her heart beating faster. They looked into each other. He said,

"I love you forever. And I am not going to leave you out of my hands again". She smiled and he laid his other hand on her cheek. His face came closer to her face that they can feel each other's breath. They are looking into each other's eyes and her breath started shivering. His eyes said, "I love you more than anyone". Her eyes said, "Not more than me". He smiled and slightly tilted his head and gently kissed her on the lips.

After a couple of moments, "hey I bought you a box of your favourite chocolates", he said.

"Yeah, maybe later", she said.

"Why, are you diabetic or on a diet again", he laughed.

She laughed and said, "It's lunch time and there is a new restaurant nearby. Shall we try that?"

"Yeah. I am hungry now after a long time", he said and they both held each other's hand and started walking to the restaurant. They had a lot of moments to talk about. They kept talking and laughing about each other.
