I have no inspiration, my thoughts are full of gloom

Hopeless and fragile, most certainly out of tune

I have no inspiration, but deep below the surface

I know I have potential, and a life that's filled with purpose

Full of uncertainty, undoubtedly perplexed

Unsure of the route or path I must take next

The depression that I feel is innately from my genes

My anxiety came abruptly, not few and far between

I strive to be accepted socially among my peers

Yet I lack the resilience to help conquer my fears

As I write I feel better and start to sense a way out

Overcoming feelings of sadness, grief, and lots of doubt

Whatever tomorrow brings, I'm ready for the challenge

My heart has been restored, and my soul has now been balanced
